This is fast, two entries in two days. Well, yesterday I added the power5 air cleaner into my regiment and this is the appropriate name for it because it is not just an air filter or air purifier, it is a powerful air cleaner. It had quite a test yesterday too. Yesterday they changed the water heater in our entire apartment complex, so I had 8 different installers coming and going and they were welding sections of the water heater. I never knew how good smoke detectors are, but as the guy was welding, every 3-5 minutes he would have to stop because the smoke alarm would trip. I couldn't even see smoke, but I guess it was there. Well, I had just unpacked the power5 air cleaner, so I just plugged it in and turned it on and sure enough the automatic setting pumped it up to "turbo" because of all the pollutants in my apartment. The guy continued to do his welding, but this time the smoke alarm didn't go off and he continued to weld for another 20 minutes. Well, needless to say, after he was done welding, the installer asked about what I did and so I gave him a Nikken catalog to take home with him. And today, after shampooing the carpet thoroughly yesterday (after they were done with the water heater), my apartment smell great and the air feels light and clean. Not like the perspiration of 8 different installers and amonia from the carpet cleaning. This is particularly great in Nevada where summers are just too hot to open a window (over 102F outside), yet you need to refresh your breathing air.  Life is getting better, one breath at a time...
